S/V Self Reliance

Dr. Dave, the new owner of a 1982 CT-49 cutter, asked Port Captain to fix a few things. I found more than a few things to fix, such as the opening ports and there was the little matter of the settees having moved about half an inch upwards, or maybe the cabin sole had sunk. We found the step did not distribute the pressure of the mast adequately, causing the hull to deform. So to make a long story short, we designed and built a new mast step. It was one of many challenging task we've enjoyed on this job.
The teak decks were beyond repair, so TeakDecking Systems Co. was contacted. This is what happened
All this is happening at Bock Marine Builders in Beaufort North Carolina.
